Disappointment is sometimes hauntingly painful
So is the agony and affliction of loneliness in the soul
The spirit yearns for the very thing the will is preventing
The years go by and the days grow long
The search for belonging still goes on
Can you not understand?
Do you not realise?
We are all in this world with nothing real to ever hold onto
The only real thing we deny
And salvation is lost upon us all
